Season Greetings, everyone
Welfare Club and SP BP Mentoring Club are working with South West CDC on a Christmas Project this December holidays and they have kindly invited our club to join them for this special and meaningful event.
South West CDC are in need of students to visit the selected elderlys. These are elderlys who live in rental flats, either living alone or on financial assistance scheme.
The main purpose of going there is to spread the Christmas mood and bring some foodpacks to them (eg rice, milo, etc). And at the same time, conduct a survey with them. SW CDC does the survey once a year so that they know the living conditions of these elderly and whether they have been cared for.
SW CDC will arrange for the food packs to be delivered to the nearest RC. We pick them up and proceed to the addresses given.
The details are as the following :
Date: 23rd December 2009
Time: 12pm - 4pm
Venue: West coast CC -opposite West Coast plaza (165 households)
*there is also a free shuttle bus from clementi mrt station to West Coast
Attire: SP white top. If not, black SP top or plain white top will be fine.
