Today it was a pleasant experience for us, representatives of SP Environment Club. We are privilege to join this form held @ SMU, Li Ka Shing Library.
During this forum, we were given perspective from global multi-national corporation: DuPont; perspective from local based business corporation: City Development Limited; perspective from government agency: National Environment Agency and perspective from academia: Dr Elizabeth Ong, SMU.
The Green Vision business plan competition was sponsored by DuPont Company and held as part of TICE (Tertiary Institutions Council for the Environment) Eco Camp 2008 in SMU. Camp participants were challenged to develop green and sustainable projects to be implemented in their communities. Our national champions were National University of Singapore and Singapore Polytechnic. The champion team from the Philippines, University de Ateno Manila, also make a guest presentation.

In simple terms, sustainability is not only a thought nor an option, it must be carried out and action must be make.
