Congrats to President Chia Shang Ming :)

The NYAA Council with the support of HSBC will be embarking on the world's first study on Climate Change in Northern Queensland, Australia conducted by world renowned scientists from James Cook University from 12 to 28 June 2007.

I am pleased to inform you that Mr Chia Shang Ming, President of Singapore Polytechnic Environment Club has been selected for the HSBC/NYAA Climate Change Research Project to be conducted at the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area in Northern Queensland, Australia.

A Send Off Ceremony will be held on
Tuesday, 12 June 2007
11.00am to12.00pm
ENV Auditorium, 4th Floor, Environment Building, 40 Scotts Road, Singapore 228231.
Guest-of-Honour is Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources.

The NYAA Council and HSBC would also like to invite 30 students from Singapore Polytechnic to the Send Off Ceremony and a lunch thereafter.CCA points given :)
